The 5th Avenue Kingpin II has sparked up the interest in many guitar
veterans. Godin have decisively crafted a semi-hollow wonder rigged with
hi-quality components that make its price laughable. For those of you
who don’t know, Godin is a Canadian manufacturer who struggles in a
saturated market by dominant brands. I try my best to provide equal
recognition in quality, and this masterpiece certainly deserves mine,
and your attention. Click here for more details on this jewel.

If you’re on the hunt looking for an instrument that perfectly
emulates classics from the 60’ era, then I have just the thing for you –
the king of classics, Gretsch’s G5420T, a supreme twang machine. No big
surprise in the manufacturer’s name here, this is their specialized
field of expertise. Hot and punchy, yet immaculately clean overdrive and
smooth as butter low end blues is what covers both sides of this hollow
body’s tonal spectrum. It is a heavenly fit for jazz, blues, country or
some soft rock tunes swinging in low gain turf.

Epiphone’s Wildkat Royale signifies the original Wildkat Series’ long
overdue revival. A semi hollow git which sports fantastic electric
acoustic sounds. This instrument is an admirable work of art from all
viewing standpoints; design, components, playability. If you’re hesitant
on grabbing your first semi hollow bodied guitar or you’re not
satisfied with your current fiddle, this axe is a fantastic choice
regardless. The instrument’s sound output is only limited by your talent
and imagination, as it can effortlessly emulate any genre, enabled by
its hi-quality components. Take a look at the full review if I’ve piqued
your interest, I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it like I did.

I felt like I need to include a semi hollow guitar in my chart as
there are more and more people interested in them. If this one costs too
much for you, check out the other hollow body guitars that I’ve
reviewed. On the other hand, if you have the money for the PRS and you
want a semi hollow guitar, just buy it. If you are determined to buy a
semi hollow guitar but has lower budget, check out the hollow body chart
that we have made. The versatility and the capabilities of this fiddle
will always offer something new to you, even if you play on it for
years. The special PRS pickups that it comes with are formidable and
they are the key to the great and clean sound that this axe is
producing. If you are into jazz, blues, or country, the warm tone that
comes out of this model will enchant you in minutes. You will not want
to let it go for days.

This Fender Telecaster is the latest member in their Modern Player
line. This model is marked as a beginner instrument at a price of around
500$. While there’s nothing wrong there, and this axe can certainly
satisfy a beginner to no end, it is fundamentally wrong to consider it
strictly as such. This work of art is a perfect match even for the most
experienced seasoned veterans. The masterful components of this fine axe
allow for an ample tonal spectrum and outstanding sound quality. If you
are considering a semi-hollow body gitbox, this Tele wonder is a
fantastic choice.
As we previously mentioned, this list is by no means final. Things
change, life changes, so our decision on what the best electric guitar
is will change too. Please take into consideration that this is an
overall list that covers models from $100 to $1000. If you are looking
for a specific price range you can navigate to the detailed price
brackets and the models that are reviewed there.
Always buy a guitar that is corresponding to your level.
There are good options for every level at every price range. You go
to your first lesson with an affordable Fender Bullet Strat or with the
luxury Classic Vibe Stratocaster, if you are a good student you will
play great music on both of them. If you are going to your first concert
in front of 40 people at the local bar, if you are good you can become
the star of the night with a Yamaha Pacifica or with a Gibson LPJ,
people will not care. They will love you, not your instrument. Got the
budget and you just want something flashy and eye catching that will
make all your guitar friends envy you? Check out the exlusive list with expensive top of the line axes.
If you have a specific budget..
If you know you what you are looking for, you can skip the first
section and go straight to the price bracket corresponding to the amount
that you are ready to spend for a new guitar. I want to assure you that
every model you see in this site is very good choice. Do not let the
comparison table fool you. When you see a Top 5 or a Top 10 chart, every
single guitar in it is a really good solution and is worth every single
dollar of its price. You don’t have to go with number 1 if you do not
like it, the rest are probably just as good. We only review the best
electric guitars. Quality and nothing else. If a guitar is not worth our
time, we just skip it and move on to something that is worth writing a
review for. Even the section with the best affordable electrctric axes is full of quality.

Never spend more than you can afford.
You should never forget that the electric guitar is just one piece of
the puzzle. Never ignore the quality and the importance of your
amplifier, check out the section with the recommended top-rated guitar amps and reviews
to get an idea on what else you will need. An expensive guitar with
cheap amp is the most amateurish thing that you can ever see or do. This
is an absolute no-no. A $300 Les Paul with a good $300 amp will give
much better output than a $500 model with $100 amplifier. Never, ever
make this mistake.
If you are just starting or if you are buying a guitar for someone
else, check out the beginner section. A detailed guide will explain
everything that you need to know about an electric guitar and all of its
components. There are some great and affordable beginner models with
reviews available for you to choose from. If you are ready to spend the
extra money, you can also check out the under $300 section as the
guitars there are also very appropriate for a new guitarist.
